Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 教育心理與輔導學系碩士班 === 107 === The purpose of the study was to explore the development of the psychological capital for professional baseball players and the interaction between psychological capital and athletic performance. In this study, the qualitative case study method was adopted, and the Chinese professional baseball player CHAN TZU-HSIEN was selected as the single case study object. This study collected data through interviews, document, archival data and reflective journal, and then analyzed and interpreted the data. The following results were found: (a) The participants in the three stages of high school, university and professional baseball league, there were five situations can develop positive psychological capital, including on the waiting list, comparison with others, hitting groove good or bad, physical fatigue, and in dilemma. (b) The participants in social psychological orientation and cognitive behavior orientation analyzed the interaction of psychological capital and the performance in terms of social psychological orientation: family support encourages and coach teaching style, the team ability to adapt, the game of tension, encourage of predecessors, and experience sharing, etc., all will produce the interaction of psychological capital and athletic performance. In the aspect of cognitive behavioral orientation, coping strategies, stress coping patterns, sports performance mentality, goal setting, achievement motivation, self-efficacy enhancement, psychological skills training, etc., all have interactive effects on participants psychological capital and sports performance. Based on these results, this study proposed specific suggestions for the follow-up study and practical application of psychological capital and sports performance.
