Through three waves of punitive tariff increases, it hopes to crack down on the Chinese economy and force China to submit. However, Taiwan’s economy is highly dependent on triangular trade. The mainland produces and exports to the United States. The two countries are important economic and trade partners for Taiwan. The China–United States trade war can be said to be a major challenge for Taiwan's economic and industrial restructuring and transformation. The strength and weakness of the country and the rise and fall of national strength. During the research period from 2018 to May 2019, through the State Administration of Trade and Industry and Technology, editorial reports and existing data compilation and data analysis, this study found that the US-China trade friction continued to cause exports to decline, but the crisis was a turning point. In addition to upgrading the industry to open up distance from other competitors, the government can assist manufacturers to enter Southeast Asia and other emerging markets.
