Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 幼兒教育學系碩士班 === 107 === The purpose of this study aims to investigate the relationship between the main caregiver's emotional expression styles and the children's attachment types. The participants were 102 children aged 4-6 years from four preschools. The researcher used questionnaire to collect research data from the children’s main caregivers. The questionnaires were analyzed in statistical methods, which included descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, and Pearson's correlation. The main research findings are concluded below: 1. The overall caregivers’ emotional expression styles are belonged to “positive styles”. The overall children’s attachment type is belonged to “safety attachment type.” 2. Children with different gender have no significant differences in their attachment types. 3. Among the relationships between the “caregivers’ emotional expression styles” and the “children’s attachment types”, only “positive emotional expression style” has significant negative correlation with “contradictory attachment type”. The rest of correlations are not significant. According to the findings, the researcher proposes some suggestions to promote the caregivers’ emphasis on their positive emotional expressions and to give suggestions for further study.
