The second fell in the physiological category, with 12 articles accounting for 46.2%. The research was mainly on the health condition of elderly people, long-term care needs, gait, daily life affairs handling, self-care, chronic drug use, etc. The remaining 6 articles belonged to technology category, accounting for 23.1%. The research contained the willingness of the elderly people living alone to use emergency rescue system, ways of the emergency rescue service, and the facilities in their home environment. In conclusion, the elderly people living alone, according to the above research, were the vulnerable physically and psychologically. They needed far more attention and social resources.
