In turn, the demand for intelligent automation talents is growing year by year the talents needed must not only knowledge but also logical thinking and creativity. The purpose of this study is to use the ADDIE instructional design model including Analysis, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluation to construct a competence-based course of intelligent automatic control system for techniques and talents training, and based on high-level intelligent control system and visual programming language, rapidly cultivating talents to meet the needs of the industry. First, use the Delphi Method to investigate the opinions of experts in academia and industry, and set up the competence of intellectual automatic analysis table. Then, develop teaching objectives, and the materials for the course. During the implementation of the course, using problem-based learning (PBL), conducting evaluations and collecting course-related records to analysis the feasibility of the Competence-Based Program. At last, through the Kirkpatrick Model to analysis the feasibility of the course proposed. The results of the study show that: (1) Use the ADDIE instructional design process to construct the curriculum and materials needed to meet industrial functions. (2) Applying teaching through PBL cases can improve students’ communication and coordination skills and attitudes. (3)Through the evaluation results of the Kirkpatrick Model, it is verified that the proposed intelligent automated function-oriented curriculum are satisfied with the intelligent automation industry.
