Planetary gear transmission has the advantages of high power-to-weight ratio, large transmission ratio and high transmission efficiency. It is widely used in vehicles, marine machinery industrial machinery and wind turbines on mechanical transmission systems.
This study is focused on the planetary gear reduction mechanism as to research on how to adapt options when any one of the following factors changed: 1) the speed ratio 2) the space size 3) the torque. The combination conditions, interference conditions and various related materials are considered in the calculation. In order to achieve the goal of intelligent design, a computer is used to design for a planetary gear reduction mechanism. First, input the factors is the reduction ratio, space size, torque. The computer will optimize the number of teeth of each gear and the relevant parameters of the gear. After calculation, the relevant parameters are drawn into engineering drawings, and then submitted to the subsequent machine for scheduling, manufacturing, assembly, and complete the entire intelligent production.
In order to understand the design reliability of intelligent design, this study uses ANSYS analysis software to calculate whether the gear strength meets the conditional requirements and compares it with the results of the program calculation. The research results show that the force of each gear is calculated by the formula, and The results obtained by the analysis software are very close That means the calculated result has a certain degree of credibility, and the program can greatly reduce the time for designing the planetary gear reduction mechanism, reduce the labor cost, and the problem of manual calculation errors.
