碩士 === 國立高雄科技大學 === 運籌管理系 === 107 === To explore the cost structure and operational modes of cold boxes and refrigerated trucks based on cold chain logistics characteristics, this study implements cost analysis to analyze and compare the cost of using cold boxes versus refrigerated trucks based on service capacity. Further, semi-structured interviews of industrial professionals are conducted to understand the characteristics of the two items of equipment, as well as the problems encountered by the enterprise in the use of cold chain logistics and the impact or change on management level. The results of this study shows that : (1) The cost of using cold boxes is lower than using refrigerated trucks when the service capacity is low and vice versa. (2) The growth rate of low temperature service capacity affects the adoption of using cold boxes or refrigerated trucks. (3) It is more beneficial for an enterprise to use cold boxes than refrigerated trucks for multi-temperature co-distribution when adopting the strategy of expanding its service scope. (4) It is more cost-effective for an enterprise to use refrigerated trucks than cold boxes when adopting the strategy of increasing the number of services.
