These factors become one of the challenges to youth employment stability. Owing to the change of employment environment, most of companies are favorite to hire contract employees or atypical employees. Therefore, the youth without work experience have no choice but have to accept those unstable jobs for earning a living. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationships among employment situation of different types of youth through analysing the features of youth labor in 15-29 age group. The result of this research might be able to provide information for policy formulation and resource allocation in the future. Reference to the survey of youth labor in 15-29 age employment situation from Ministry of Labor in 2016, obtained 4,047 valid samples in total. With data mining techniques, association rule and decision tree were established to analyze the relationship between youth transfer and each factor. The results obtained are as follows: 1). There are 70% atypical employees in total changed their jobs. 2). The job transfer rules were different at the age between initial employees and experienced employees. 3). Different working places (i.e., northern and southern area in Taiwan) led to different job transfer situations. 4). Youth employee with college degree had job transfer intention because of overtime working situation. The result of this study can demonstrate the relationships between main purposes and job transfer and provide information for related units to make policy and improve youth employment environment. Abstract
