This study takes Taiwan listed companies from 2010 to 2017 as a sample to explore the impact of family involvement of listed companies on innovation and R&D performance. Using regression analysis to explore the impact of family involvement on innovation R&D performance, and to join the CEO duality The number of independent directors, the number of board meetings , the size of the board of directors , percentage of independent directors, average attendance rate of the board of directors and percentage of directors as the interference variables, further examine the impact of the company's internal control mechanism on family involvement and innovation R&D performance. The empirical results of this study show That family involvement has a significant negative impact on innovation R&D performance, and the number of directors participating in the board meeting will slow down the negative impact of family involvement and innovation R&D performance.
