Usually, SEBS is also blended with other materials to adjust and control physical properties to expand its application field. In this study, a new type of SEBS 6014 developed by TSRC CORPORATION, which can be processed without adding oil, was added with different molecular structure of polyolefin elastomer (POE) to explore the effects on viscoelasticity, melt viscosity and physical properties of different proportions of POE mixed with SEBS 6014. In experiments, the dynamic mechanical viscoelastic analyzer (DMA) was used to determine the compatibility of the blend, the viscosity, temperature and shear rate were measured by a capillary rheometer, the fluidity was measured by Melt Flow Indexer, and the tensile strength (Tensile Strength at Break, Tb) and Elongation (Elongation at Break, Eb) of the test pieces were measured by a universal tensile machine. The results show that the SEBS 6014 is compatible with either the DF 810 or the Engage 8003. When SEBS 6014 is added with DF 810, the intermolecular interaction between the two polymers in the blend is enhanced, and the physical properties of the blend exhibit a synergistic effect, but this phenomenon does not happen when SEBS 6014 is added with Engage 8003.
