ICT have been considered to be the key technology of the past decade. There are many potential roles that ICT can contribute to modern society, including the ability to allow data collection for analysis, monitoring and forecasting purposes to provide ways of working. replacement, efficiency…There are many researchers show evidence that ICT industry affect economic growth and the efficiency of firm. The ICT sector in Vietnam in recent years has had many breakthroughs and favorable conditions for the market. Specifically, Vietnam is always a country with rapid growth in the number of Internet users, mobile devices, and computers, as well as entertainment software, support software, ... at a high level compared to other countries. According to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), ICT of Vietnam only stands in a very modest position on the world ICT map. For these reasons, the purpose of this study is not only to propose some suggestions to improve productivity of ICT but also to find business performance assessments for making investment strategy decisions for ICT industry in Vietnam. In this research the author develops an integrated method based on GM (1,1) for forecasting the input and output values in the future of 24 companies of ICT industry in Vietnam based on collected in the financial statement over five years from 2013 to 2017. After the forecast is completed, the past and forecast data will be re-enumerated, the research will use those data and apply the Data Envelop Analysis to analysis performance of chosen DMUs. more specifically the author will use 2 model include Malmquist-model and super-SBM-model. In summary, the results also show the average score of ICT industry in Vietnam change in time period from 2013 to 2022, the result show that the ICT industry of Vietnam always have a positive change over the years but some companies will become less efficient. This research aims to give some suggestions for not only investors but also ICT industry companies’ managers to contribute industry development to the general development of Vietnam.
