Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 電子工程學系 === 107 === The annual traffic accident rate increases although the vehicle technologies improve. Many drivers have the experience of being exposed to the high beam of the rear vehicle. To effectively reduce the incidence of accidents caused by glare from driving, in recent years, a system has been developed to identify vehicles on the road through a photographic lens. The system can also automatically adjust the light intensity of the headlights so that the driver can drive at night without jeopardizing other drivers but retain a clear view. In this thesis, the RGB color model or the HSV color model are used to detect the color of the taillight color. Then the morphological operation is selected to visualize the detected image and eliminate unnecessary noise as well as connect the components. The coordinates of each taillight are obtained, and that information is used to determine the distance between our vehicle and the preceding vehicles by the fuzzy logic, thereby adjusting the output brightness of the lamp to achieve the purpose.
