Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 107 === Abstract This thesis adopts the methodology of action research to study the concept of "green funeral" of elementary school students.The research applies picture books for the integration course on life and environmental education. The thesis aims to explore the effectiveness on the understanding of fourth grades;secondly,the author intends to explore the teachers' reflection and professional growth in the course of research. After analysis of the research results, the main conclusions are as follows: 1.After the implementation of the curriculum, children's attitude towards death has been significantly changed. They can understand the meaning of "green funeral" and are willing to carry it out. Therefore, the concept of "green funeral" for fourth graders at elementary school is feasible. 2.The use of picture book to develop the concept of "green funeral" has been loved by students, which shows that issues the picture books are an excellent medium for teaching life and environmental. 3.Taking the concept of "green funeral" as the main axis, students have good learning results in both life education and environmental education. 4.In the course of this research, the researchers themselves have developed the knowledge about the transmission of "green funeral" and how to use picture books in elementary school teaching and elementary school curriculum design. Finally, this thesis presents concrete recommendations based on the research results to offer reference for subsequent educators.
