According to the description of the instrumental needs in Ivan Trevino "Sweet Science for multi-percussion soloist", this indicated music provides a lot of flexibility for performers to select another instrument. In addition to the designed instruments set by the composer, (such as triangle, tambourine, kick drum and hi-hat,) this study selects wrench as another instrument, which is matched the pre-condition of a metal musical instrument with nine specific pitches for the score, for the performance because of the instrumental sound of the reverberation and the tone. The further discussion for the analysis, the interpretation, and the instrument selection of the “Sweet Science for multi-percussion soloist” will be presented in detailed.
