Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 化學系 === 107 === A series of D3h-symmetrical Hexa-peri-hexabenzocoronene (HBC) derivatives was successfully synthesized, abbreviated as HBC-1,3,5-Ph-Cm,n-DA-R, where 1,3,5 refers to the position of the DA-containing chains with different spacer m ( m = 2, 3, 8) to HBC core and connected alkyl chains n (n = 13 7, 9), R is the length of alkyl chains at the 2, 4, 6 positions. The self-assembling behaviors of HBC-1,3,5-Ph-Cm,n-DA-R in solution state and condensed state on a substrate were investigated. In particular, the HBC-1,3,5-Ph-C8,9-DA-C12 exhibited a stable hexagonal columnar phase property at 47 °C, which was beneficial for the preparation of devices and application in near future. All of HBC-1,3,5-Ph-Cm,n-DA-R derivatives can be polymerized by thermal treatment or UV-irradiation. The physical and chemical properties of compounds before and after polymerization have been investigated by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-visible spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering (DLS).
