| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 國文學系 === 107 === Qi Baishi is outstanding at modern poet, book, painting, and seal of Chinese. Although his paintings are widely known, his poems are not widely researched by others. He has commented himself on "Poetry First" several times, but he did not explain the reason further. Through the research of his painting poems, we can re-objectively examine this phenomenon and give a reasonable explanation. Chinese literature and art have always been appraised a character based on the historical background. Qi Baishi is especially true in his creation. At first, this article outlines his important life stories to understand his personality, the important influence of emotion on literary creation, and then discuss achievements and core conception of his poetry and painting. Also it point out the value of inheriting the Chinese culture, the integration of knowledge and action and innovation from the tradition. The research is aimed at poems in《The Complete Works of Qi Baishi》. It specific analysis themes, content meanings, formal skills, and mastering the characteristics of Qi Baishi's poems from the medium of poetry and painting, the bridge of communication between the authors and the viewer, thus giving a reasonable interpretation and position to Qi Baishi's arguments.
