Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工程國際碩士學位學程 === 107 === This study mainly mingles culture and design to create cultural creativity products from Indian culture. cultural and creative industries have received huge global attention recently, a strong link among these industries and design has been recognized. due to unique and attractive Indian & nearby artistic is a crucial contemporary style, the cultural element-based creativity product can obtain culture, market and set up the symbolic cultural image. To accomplish the objective, this study takes Indian cultural elements as an example and designs a product to represent the cultural image to influence the users.
The thesis aims to design something out of which veneer in the movements carried out during the Yoga and creating a Product design because of Indian culture and tradition by-product creation in Indian culture and elements and explore the possible relationships between cultural brand narration and brand equity. Which named “India: Through the Yoga” and carried out a literature review, balance design and factor analysis about the fusion of cultural elements in industrial design. The Product aims at promoting the cultural legacy of India by its design. The main aim is to translate the Asanas (postures) of Yoga form into products. Drawing on culture code or symbolic theory, this empirical investigation identifies symbols that possess expressive value with target consumers, and how a symbol on a product may impact or attract the response of target consumers. A business model for Cultural education has been designed & developed. A framework has been created in a cultural event to help the audience in learning cultural symbols of traditional Indian culture. Diverse cultural elements of yoga like Asanas (postures) depicting different objects and moods are analyzed and expressed in product shapes to reveal the root elements like ‘Asanas (postures) in Hatha yoga’. The symbolic representation of an asana (posture) in yoga through postures is difficult to know deep for a layperson audience. The project tries to expose the symbolic representations through product form's gesture like a ‘Yoga gestures’ is abstracted to reveal the form figuratively. Thus, the audience can learn the symbolic representations through decoded product expressions. Where I have to understand culture code theory or culture symbols on product. A significance is for marketers to recognize such symbols for consumers.
