All of them were built in old times and consist of traditional structures, and in comparison with the modern buildings, they are usually poor in disaster resistance. Most of the historic buildings consist of flammable wooden structures, so it is easy to burn into fire disaster. Unprobable strategies for protecting historic wood buildings from fire disaster will also lead to an incurable damage. Peitan temple. is a very representative of the freshwater area of historical monuments. In order to achieve better preservation and cultural value. Therefore, the fire prevention research on the fire investigation and analysis, literature review and case study, expert interview and war force analysis occurred in the Peitan temple in the past 102 years. This study found that the fire prevention countermeasures should be aimed at personnel access, fire safety planning and the use of electrical equipment to do the discussion. Followed by the usual for the prevention and rescue drills and how to preserve and maintain them, etc., can be used as a match for the improvement of the Temple. The plan provides a reference for the way in which the historical building fire prevention measures are refined. To the modern fire prevention system to view the Peitan temple, there are three recommendations should be improve as soon as possible. The first point is that the Peitan temple is not specifically visited. It seems that the personnel are in and out of complex, and it is easy to cause the monument to be damaged by unidentified personnel. Usually should always send personnel to strengthen the inspections. The second point is to add fire-fighting equipment that does not damage the main structure, so that when the fire occurs, the disaster will not be expanded, and the initial fire-fighting training of the staff should be strengthened. Third, the old wires and electrical equipment are prone to cause a fire caused by a short circuit. Regular inspection or replacement of electrical equipment is less likely to cause ignition.
