Aside from learning relative concepts in science class, students can also develop a deeper appreciation for local campus plants with the application of information technology, thus developing further familiarity with campus plants. This study was conducted with the use of plant identification app on a tablet computer and through integrated curriculum activities to evaluate students' learning effectiveness. The sample subjects are sixty students of three classes in the fifth grade from Happy elementary school in Chiayi County, taught by the author. App mobil learning was introduced among students. Before and after the experimental curriculum approach, pre-test and post-test were made along with questionnaires and interviews to analyze the learning effectiveness and satisfaction of the students. The result shows that with the use of plant identification app, students' interest is boosted, and so is the learning effectiveness.
