Based on the latest 2011 Input-Output Tables announced in 2015 by the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics, Executive Yuan, we attempt to establish the aviation industry and propose a modified input-output table to explore the intra-industry relationships within Taiwan’s economy. By adopting the RAS method, we find that the pull and push effects of the aviation industry are strong.. Additionally, by analyzing the re-established forward correlation coefficients, the results show that there are feww industries can be directly influenced by the aviation industry, indicating that the direct impact of the aviation industry on the other industries in Taiwan economy is limited. However, through analyzing the indirect correlation of the aviation industry with its forward industries, the aviation industry can create strong pull effect on its downstream industries indirectly.
