Under this overall foreign policy, the PRC actively promote military diplomacy, such as high-level exchanges of visits and trainings, the friendship flotilla’s duty, joint exercises, anti-terrorism trainings, and military sales to enhance military cooperation and mutual trust between the PRC and other countries. PRC and Vietnam have a considerable degree of relevance in terms of history, geopolitical relations, and security. Especially under the influence of the “South China Sea Dispute”, PRC and Vietnam have a security confrontation; the United States and related countries have actively draw Vietnam to their side to jointly contain the development of PRC. The importance of Vietnam in the promotion of military diplomacy in the PRC is self-evident. Although China and Vietnam have successive exchanges of high-level visits, joint communiques, joint statements and related security agreements, there are still many shortcomings in the establishment of military mutual trust and security cooperation. Therefore, this paper uses the method of “Literature Analysis” as the main research method to review the diplomatic strategies and the Sino-Vietnam relationships of the previous leaders of the PRC, analyzes the purpose and situation of the PRC’s promotion of military diplomacy to Vietnam, and then understands the military relations between the two sides and assesses the possibility of future development FAN, SHIH-PING 范世平 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 147 zh-TW |
