As the “rainforests of the sea”, coral reefs have been an important indicator in studying biodiversity. However, reefs have suffered from mass coral bleaching events as the result of the increase in greenhouse gas emissions. Ocean warming caused a large number of coral bleaching deaths, which consequently threaten other ecosystems. The fragile coral reef ecological environment needs to be revived. I will transform the elements of the marine life that I love in my memory and the delicate shells and skeletons of the ocean microfossils. To focus on rep roducing the beauty of coral reefs, delicate shells and skeletons of marine microfossils were used as elements for transformation, and was then shaped with the Hualien's Dongfu clay produced by the Tafalong tribe. "Rainforests Of The Sea "split into three topics, "Worry aboud the coral bleaching ", "Illusion march of microfossils " and "A hall of ocean treasure". The sadness and sorrow feelings for coral bleaching were presented through three series of pottery creations, in the attempt to highlight the importance of the conservation of marine lives.
