In the study, a questionnaire survey method is used. The research tool is “Questionnaire of Psychological Capital and Quality of Work Life for Elementary School Teachers.” Chiayi City elementary school teachers are the study population, in which 219 samples are valid. The data are analyzed with statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, t test, multiple regression and correlation. The results are summarized as follow: 1. The overall state of elementary school teachers’ psychological capital at Chiayi City is at the degree of medium to high. 2. The overall state of elementary school teachers’ quality of work life at Chiayi City is at the degree of medium. 3. Elementary school teachers’ psychological capital significantly differs in the background variables of gender, position, marital status, popularity. 4. Elementary school teachers’ quality of work life significantly differs in the background variable of popularity. 5.
