The study experiences of Malaysian students who are studying in Taiwan: study aboard and also escape from the pressure situation, not used to Taiwanese diet, companionship of friends from the same country is the main factor to promote good adaption in Taiwan, the cost of studying in Taiwan is the main source of pressure. 2. The continuing connection with their home place experiences of Malaysian students who are studying in Taiwan: the personal space brought by the distance makes the relationship between the students and their family better, hometown taste makes international students feel closer to home, maintain contact with family members and follow up with family news to achieve psychological stability when study aboard, the absence of family activities and major events makes the students feel as if they were separated from home, parents’ health status and the death of their relatives make students more worried about their parents, when students feel vulnerable, frustrated, unable to reunite with their families or get closer to home, it is a time of special homesickness, being with their parents and better salary conditions are the main factors affecting the career choice of international students. Finally, based on those research results, there are some suggestions for counselors and future researchers are provided. Ching-Jan, Chang 張景然 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 162 zh-TW
