Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 教育研究所 === 107 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among personal traits, learning motivation and creativity to vocational high school students in Taichung, Changhua and Nantou Areas. There were 773 students responded to this questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, t test, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data.
The results of this study were summarized as follows: First, the students in Taichung, Changhua and Nantou Areas showed a tendency to extraversion. Students’ learning motivation reached to the intermediate-to-high level. Second, there were significant differences between gender in neuroticism, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness. Third, there were significant differences between study area in openness and agreeableness. Fourth, there were significant differences of intrinsic learning motivation and extrinsic learning motivation between gender. Fifth, there were significant differences between study area in intrinsic learning motivation. Sixth, there were significant differences between gender in cognitive tendency. Seventh, there were no significant differences between study area in creativity. Eighth, students’ personality traits, learning motivation and creativity are related to each other. Ninth, personality traits and learning motivation can effectively predict creativity.
In the end, based on these results, this study provided suggestions to schools, teachers and future researcher.
