Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 美術學系 === 107 === Abstract Because of the development of Internet, art creation has been more and more popular. Many creators who do not have art background would use the Internet to show their art works, and they would also constantly devote to art creation. Many famous creators who have already published their books do not have visual-art background. Even though there are so many creators who do not have visual-art background, there is few research about why they constantly devote to creation. My study intends to discover why these creators keep devoting to graphic art creations, what are the factors affecting the motivations, and what is the meaning of creation to them. Because most of the people do not have art background, understanding their thoughts about art creation would be useful for art education and policies. The respondents of my study are aged between 22 and 30, have their own fan page, and devote to art creation for more than two years. The respondents are Jiang-xiao-liu, Yan-tian-hai-ta, Fang-she-yi-mei, and Wilson. In addtion, Xian-yu, who had studied in art for half year in senior high school is used as an extra respondent in my essay. I interviewed them separately in person, and try to observe and analyze their creations which were published online. I requested them to bring at least three pieces of their creations and tried to thoroughly explore their motivations and the experiences of their creations. My study discover their motivations of creation and the factors which affect these motivations by analyzing theirs creations and the interview. I classify the motivations of creation into 7 groups: person interests, life recording and sharing, skill improving, trend following, interactions with others, creating for commissions, and others. I also classify the factors which will affect the motivations of creation into 8 groups: creations of others, reactions of others, commissions of others, competitions and activities, life experiences, quality of their skills, mental condition, and others. There are many personal factors which can only be classified as “others”. Creation is a part of some respondents’ life while creation is only a tool for life records or entertainment for others. However, creation will more or less affects their lives.
