Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 107 === The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between the work pressure and self-efficacy of teachers in the national technical high school mechanical cluster. This study employed questionnaire survey method. The instrumentation included two questionnaire which were "Teacher Work Pressure” and “Teacher Self-efficacy". The population of the study was 901 mechanical teachers, and sampling technique employed stratified cluster. The usable returned questionnaire was 356, and its returned rate was 84.7%. The statistics method included descriptive statistics, t test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and stepwise multiple regression for data analysis. The conclusions and recommendations were as follows:
.The work pressure was moderate, and self-efficacy was above the average of the mechanical teachers.
.There were significant difference of work pressure among mechanical teachers on different school location, scales and excessing teacher quota. Especially those teachers whose school located in the west, under 59 classes and excessing teacher quota were under higher pressure.
.There were significant difference of self-efficacy among mechanical teachers on different age span, educational background and school location, especially those teachers who are over 51 years old, graduated from normal university, and serve in south of Taiwan had higher self-efficacy.
.There were significant negative correlation between work pressure and self-efficacy. The higher of the work pressure result in lower the self-efficacy among mechanical teachers.
.The work pressure was able to predict self-efficacy statistically, and interpersonal pressure dimension was the best predictor among all dimensions of the work pressure.
