碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 高階主管企管碩士班 === 107 === This study explores how firms in metalworking fluids (cutting fluids) industry can survive in the face of rapidly changing environment, ever-improving technology and increasingly stringent environmental regulations. The structural change and new trends data in the industry were collected; SWOT Analysis and Porter’s Five Forces Analysis were utilized to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the case company – Company M. The results in this study indicate that the vegetable-oil based cutting fluid in the metal processing industry has the advantages of energy saving and environmental protection. In addition, it can help clients to improve their product quality and promote human safety, which is extremely important for metal processing manufacturing industry.
