The structural change and new trends data in the industry were collected; SWOT Analysis and Porter’s Five Forces Analysis were utilized to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the case company – Company M. The results in this study indicate that the vegetable-oil based cutting fluid in the metal processing industry has the advantages of energy saving and environmental protection.
