Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 企業管理學系 === 107 === With the high attention on the circular economy, more and more enterprises turn toward the circular economy to reduce resource scarcity, increase corporate profits, and decrease environmental pollution. The chemical industry is the foundation of the manufacturing industry, but it faces scarcity of resources, serious waste and environmental problems. Each stage of its life cycle may have a negative impact on the environment; therefore, many chemical companies develop circular economy to improve the above mentioned problems. This study aims to evaluate the circular economy performance of the chemical industry from 2014 to 2016 so as to examine the effect. This study uses the Dynamic Network Data Envelopment Analysis method because it considers periods .And it is able to evaluate multiple inputs, outputs even unknown industrial processes. while considering undesirable outputs and linking activities. Taking global chemical companies as research objects, this paper discusses the overall efficiency of circular economy, analyzes the production efficiency and environmental efficiency of chemical enterprises, and observes the annual performance changes of chemical enterprises' circular economy. The research results show that the circular economy results of the chemical industry have just begun to be promoted. The production efficiency of most chemical companies is very mature, and there is room for improvement in environmental efficiency. Therefore, chemical companies are encouraged to use the management decision matrix and projection analysis of this research to find the direction to improve the performance of circular economy and achieve the most efficient performance.
