Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 理學院應用科技學程 === 107 === In recent years, open-source hardware such as Arduino is very popular among students and Maker. And the teaching methods which realize the core spirit of Maker, from “idea only” to “do-it-yourself (DIY)”, are promoted and popularized gradually. There are many evaluation boards (EVB) available on the market which are compatible with Arduino development environment nowadays. This research is using the EVB “LinkIt 7697” launched by MediaTek Labs in 2017 specially designed for the IoT (Internet of Things) as expansion module board (also known as “shield”) for the use of auxiliary teaching. And to utilize the sensor module on this shield for the IoT related development and application. Commonly used components and sensors by normal Maker are already designed on the module board to facilitate users’ utility without the need for additional wiring. We can also use empty pins on the shield for external expansion. The application and development of EVB is based on two different computer configuration programs: Arduino IDE and bDesigner (supporting software for Scratch). Arduino IDE is written in traditional text editing method. On the other hand, Scratch is written in the way of blocks building syntax, it’s very suitable to be an entry-level learning material for students or users who are not so familiar with programming language to get started with.
