Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 電子研究所 === 107 === This thesis introduces the topic about sidelink synchronization, including problem formulation, algorithm derivation and program simulation, in LTE-A Pro system. We develop an algorithm about the joint estimation of symbol timing offset (STO) and carrier frequency offset (CFO). We first establish the transmitted and received signal models of LTE-A Pro sidelink system and derive the solution based on the maximum likelihood (ML) criterion. It is a general solution over multipath fading channels. In order to reduce complexity, we ignore a secondary term during derivation and formulate an estimator having the same performance with complete ML estimation. To combat realistic scenarios, we propose a power-delay-profile (PDP) approximation method. By considering all candidate PDPs, the best performance can be approached. In simulation, we establish a reasonable received signal model in LTE-A Pro sidelink system, and then simulate our proposed estimators under various LTE-A Pro pre-defined multipath fading channel with different relative speeds and signal-to-noise ratios. Moreover, we test our power-delay-profile approximation method by plugging all possible candidate channels. At last, we compare our algorithms with respect to MATLAB LTE System Toolbox internal functions, and prove that our algorithms outperform.
