We first collect ancient Chinese portraits from the open data of National Palace Museum , then to build them as a facial expression library via image processing. After that, we detect various visitors’ expressions by deep learning API. Mapping a visitor’s expression with the built facial expression library, the visitor can interact with ancient people vividly. It is possible to expand this facial expression change system into various gesture and dress up systems , to attract more people to visit museums.
