In the past, the mechanical keyboard was only a computer peripheral device based on text input function, with the advancement of technology, the membrane keyboard quickly replaced the mechanical keyboard with the advantages of new technology and low price, the mechanical keyboard gradually disappears in the torrent of history. Until recent years, it has been reborn due to the rise of the e-sport industry, it’s different form membrane keyboard, the mechanical keyboard has many unique sensory features, the rich feeling of touch and sound make players in all fields fascinated, and redefining the new value of this old generation product in the market. By adopting Norman’s three emotional levels of product design as the theoretical framework of this study, analyze the emotional factors of mechanical keyboard players, By the three faces of reflective level, personal satisfaction, self-image, and memory, to exploring the characteristics of the mechanical keyboard in visceral level: appearance; the behavioral level: function, efficiency and fun. Collects user’s information and organizes the emotional context by focus group interview method, and conducts statistics and analysis by quantitative questionnaire survey method, and then use the depth interview method to analyze the player's emotional information, and compare with the quantitative results, and finally summarize the emotional factors of the experience of mechanical keyboard users. The results of the study show that the purpose of use for mechanical keyboard players and the type of players have no significant correlation, it means that the mechanical keyboard player for the purpose of the game is not the most enthusiastic player of the mechanical keyboard, and vice versa.In the player's purpose of use, the game players are satisfied with the appearance and function, efficiency and fun, as well as the self-image feeling in the appearance are higher than the non-game players. In the player type, the hardcore players in reflective level are significantly higher than core players and the ordinary player. It shows that the players the more keen on the mechanical keyboards, the more they profound the emotions of personal satisfaction, self-image and memory.
