| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 音樂研究所 === 107 === This thesis will be divided into 4 chapters. In the first chapter, I am going to introduce the motivations and methods of the study "Suite Italienne", and explain why it caused me to its study, and how to further research and analyze this work.
The second chapter summarize the biography of Stravinsky from his background and experience, so as to understand the composing characteristics and transformation of his music.
Since "Italian Suite" is adapted from the ballet "Pulcinella" (1919), the third chapter will introduce the ballet "Pulcinella", the background of the creation and the storyline, and compare the similarities and differences between the ballet and the violin version.
The last chapter is all about the interpretation. I will explain how to make the the tone color, and the use of various playing techniques to make the performance more intense and persuasive.
