Summary: | 碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 科技管理研究所 === 107 === Due to the popularity of music and the listening time people spent is increasing, music is closely related to people's lives, whether the music will influence people to make decisions in the economic environment. In the context of the world's largest streaming platform: Spotify released the API of audio features, there is no literature to explore the correlation between the audio features and the economic environment.
The main contribution of the research is to explore the economic environment indicators and Spotify's nine audio features as quantitative indicators. The results help understand the impact of different characteristics of music on the economic environment, provide an idea about the related research using Spotify audio features, and to discuss the influence of integrated, single economic indicators and the audio features.
Future research should focus on increasing the size of the dataset, shortening the data collection period, and adding more variables (such as climate variables, current events variables, etc.).
