It is characterized by the relationship between the material and the user, and how to build the Morphogenetic logic for the construction of special functional infrastructure and reflect the adaptability of the landscape environment. Research and review of contemporary landscape architectures is lack of exploration of tectonic itself, including how to generate , structure constructed and the structure of the materials responds to the landscape programming and ecology as a landscape mechanism or organizational operation system, its impact on materials and the complexity and possibility. This article is constructed with three parts of the explanation of the landscape. The first part, “Cartography, as a method of understanding the nature of the landscape” reveals hidden or meaningful material or non-material things in the environment through the mapping, extracts space’s properties of natural environment which have performative behaviour , and the concept of understanding the “Surface” of the landscape. The second part, “tectonics as the mophology of functional material ” By learning from the “Flow” form of the surface on field of landscape, as a parameter required for morphogenesis.Then, reorganizing the definition of material and functional of the space. The third part, “ tectonics as a generative system for the operation of landscape relationships” . Its mainly exploring the continuity and difference between natural forms and construction forms, at the same time, to achieve each other in process over time. The system operates in a way that achieves the landscape effect of sustainable development. The design method uses the geomorphology analysis framework as the matrix. Through the production of cartography as the logic of the natural environment reflected in the form space, this process makes the architectural space of the landscape appear “ tectonically ” and “material” in response to complex urban ecological landscape issues.
