Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 建築研究所 === 107 === For performing the unique aroma of different varieties of alcoholic beverages, people have specific types of containers for unique types of liquors. Events as elements of life experience also correspond to various places. In other words, unique types of events vary by places. Events are comprised of the Subject and those perceptible Objects that could interact with the Subject. Perceptible Objects that reacts to stimulation from the Subject form particular behaviour and experiences. It means the Subject is in a dialogical relationship with the other biological and objective things. Event is triggered by the dialogue between people (Subject) and things (Object). It features "object-oriented" and "social-oriented" and it is corresponding to varieties of specific types of space. The object-oriented space is a "room" or "container" of object-oriented events, which is a indicative place. The social-orientation space means "in-between", which is a place to accommodate "potential" and a meaningful blank in the building. The space from the city to the building to the interior is composed of "object-oriented space" and "social-orientation space". However, in the current situation, most of these two spaces are separated. In this design thesis, I will explore how to use the internalization of "social-orientation space" and the objectization of "object-oriented space" to dissolve the boundary and creat a spatial state of communion.
