The index of urea in saliva plays an important role for testing as well as diagnosing the state or quality of being efficient of renal in patients who are suffering in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) [2]. Thin films were prepared by coating the detecting of urea gel-solution which contains polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) powder, phenol red solution, urease solution. The heating process at above 75 degrees was an important step to prepare the gel-solution and to dry the films out. This research’s objective is to create the bio-sensing films that have a potential to detect urea level in saliva samples in order to validate its application in chronic kidney disease (CKD) researching issue. The way to add PVA powder into the mixing phenol red – urease solution not only does not give the negative effect to the detecting of urea ability but also help the completed solution becomes more viscous in order to obtain the final gel-solution which is suitable for creating the detect urea detecting biosensor film.
