Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 材料科學與工程學系所 === 107 === Tetraphenylethylene-spiropyran fluorescent probe for metal ion were synthesized, which combined the advantage of the aggregation induced emission of tetraphenylethylene and spiropyran as a photoswitch. These synthesized molecules are not only soluble in common organic solvents, such as dichloromethane (DCM), chloroform, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), tetrahydrofuran (THF), but also soluble in semi-aqueous media. These molecules exhibited strong emission when water fraction was more than 70% due to the aggregation of TPE moiety. The aggregation induced emission wavelength of TPE partially overlapped with the absorption wavelength of open form spiropyran. After irradiated with UV light, spiropyran became open form and energy transfer happened. The open form molecules could be a metal ion sensor. We also made these small molecules into polymer. We hope this polymer can be further use in sensor materials.
