In particular, the recent US-China trade war has intensified, and all countries in the world, including Taiwan, cannot be independent. The main purpose of this study is to explore the impact of the US-China trade war on the Taiwan stock market and analyze its impact on stocks with investment potential in the Taiwan stock market. This study first uses the financial indicators such as the P/E ratio, the return on equity, and the gross profit margin of each company to screen out outstanding stocks with investment value, and then influence the actual return on investment for stock price, P/E ratio and earnings per share. The indicators grouped stocks with similar characteristics. Finally, the event research method was used to analyze the performance of Taiwan stocks during the US-China trade war and the truce. The study found that the US-China trade war has a positive impact on the types of stocks with lower costs and lower earnings per share, and has a negative impact on stock types with higher costs and higher earnings per share.
