Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 土木工程系所 === 107 === Building information model (BIM) has been developed maturely in recent years and has been applied to campus maintenance management. Past studies, focusing on a single building, lacked the overall maintenance for multiple buildings and other facilities outside the buildings. Thus, this research proposes a multiple-building campus maintenance management model that integrates geographic information systems (GIS) and BIM. In the proposed model, BIM consists of information and 3D model itself. The information is stored in the database to provide users with relevant information for review, add and modification, while the multiple 3D BIM models can be placed on a GIS architecture. In the GIS environment, besides viewing the appearance of the 3D models, the proposed model also has the function of interacting with the 3D models. By integrating BIM and GIS, the proposed model allow to present the relative positions between buildings and the surrounding facilities. Moreover, the user not only can maintain and manage multiple buildings on GIS, and he can also maintain and manage other facilities located outside the buildings. Finally, the proposed model is applied to an university campus (case study) to test its benefits and feasibility. The model is also refined according to expert suggestions on the case study.
