Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 土木工程系所 === 107 === This study discusses the feasibility of applying Chatbot (or LINE BOT) to construction projects. That is, this research intends to integrate BIM and Chatbot by developing additional functions of Chatbot for exploring further BIM applications. This research aims on construction and maintenance phases of a construction project. We use C# coding language to develop the above- mentioned Chatbot functions, including: "quantity inquiries", "photo inquires", "photo inquires by major construction items", "equipment inquires" and "maintenance reporting". Among these functions, the "quantity inquiries" and "equipment inquires" functions are developed according to the information extracted from BIM. Finally, this study applies the proposed system to various cases for testing the feasibility of the developed functions. The case studies has showed that the benefits of applying Chatbot to construction projects. In addition, this study also proposes several future research directions based on the suggestions and comments of several expert interviews.
