Aging may lead to a decline in physiology function of middle-aged and elderly people, balance ability and joint activity decline; therefore, action is slow, increasing the incidence of falls, affecting the living ability and quality of life of middle-aged and elderly people. If there is a problem with the joint (for example: Cartilage calcification,Downgrade, inflammation,Long bone spur or Suffering from severe fractures). The muscles around it tend to cause tightness, stiffness, pain and insufficient core strength can also lose to balance. It is known from the literature that yoga poses can increase the muscle strength of the muscles around the joints, and the core strength training of Pilates can promote the stability and control of the limbs.Based on the characteristics and advantages of Yoga and Pilates, this study draws on projects suitable for middle-aged and older people, and integrates it into a modified Yogalates as a health-enhancing exercise program for middle-aged people to delay aging. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of the eight-week modified Yogalates exercise. METHODS: A total of 32 elders aged 45 to 76 years old were divided into modified Yogalates group (1 males, 15 females, average age 55.6±8.8 years old)and the control group (3 males, 13 females, average age 55.8±6.3 years old), exercise for eight weeks, twice a week for 60 minutes.Detect static balance, dynamic balance, joint mobility and body composition (α = .05). The statistics were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 t- test. Results: Revised Yogalates was significantly better than the control group after the experiment. Conclusion: Effect of Revised Yogalates on Joint Mobility,Dynamic and Static Balance in Middle Aged,Senior Adults are better. Key word: Falls,Isometric muscle strength, Core strength training, Star excursion balance. Lin Chin Li 林晉利 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 65 zh-TW
