With the development of the economy and the extension of the average life expectancy of the Chinese people, the United Nations was declared the International Year of Volunteers in 2001, and China was in January 4, 2001. Through the Volunteer Service Act, senior citizens will face the problem of retirement. Older people look for ambitions or have a goal in retirement. Encourage senior citizens to participate in volunteer services, not only to serve others, but also to It can make the retirement life of the elderly more interesting and interesting. It is no longer just sitting in front of the TV at home and doing nothing. The elderly can become a living and willing to help others and make their life more colorful. From the process of volunteer service, we found the beauty of life and completed the dream-seeking plan. At the Hongdao Foundation for the Elderly, we advocated the welfare and service of the elderly. The process led to changes in government reform and social welfare policies. This study mainly uses the interview method in the qualitative research, and uses the method of intentional sampling to find the interviewee. This study defines the elderly in the elderly over 65 years old. The interviewees are over 65 years old and above, and participated in the Hongdao Senior Citizen Foundation. For the elderly who volunteered for the Hongdao Old People's Foundation, the interview method used a semi-structured interview questionnaire to discuss the motivation of senior citizens to participate in volunteer service and the feedback from senior citizens in volunteer service. After analysis of the interview data, the following conclusions were obtained. 1. Older people join the Hongdao Old People’s Foundation, most of them recommended by relatives and friends 2. The motivation to participate in volunteering is to help others 3. Participate in volunteering without affecting the family 4. Most volunteer services require a training course 5. There must be some gains in the process of participating in volunteer work. 6. The process of participating in volunteers is saved from it.
