This thesis hopes to promote the green energy building and reduces energy consumption. To explore the effect of improving the natural ventilation which apply in residential houses. Verifying that the residential houses staircase is good for enhancing the natural ventilation, compared the two types of residential houses. One is the stairs located in the center of the building, the other is the stairs located in the behind of the building. In this study, the CFD simulation validated with experimental data from wind tunnel tests. Then, create the full-sized model, simulating wind speeds of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5m/s and wind directions of south wind, southeast wind and southwest wind. Discuss the effectiveness of natural ventilation for the stairwells. After full-scale CFD simulation, it is found that the stairs located in the behind of the building has better natural ventilation effect. Because it absorbs more solar heat gain, and the thermal buoyancy ventilation is more significant. The wind direction also play an important role in here. The effect of the southwesterly wind ventilation is the highest, resulting in the location of the building door. Chi-Ming Lai 賴啟銘 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 92 zh-TW
