The general studies about organizational change are simply applied to the management theories rather than using self-determination theory. This study aims to measure employees’ participation level of organizational change by satisfying the three basic psychological needs of their self-determination. The three are autonomy, competency and the sense of belonging. This study surveyed and collected data from 180 employees working at subsidiary industry of semi-conductors manufacturing. Employing structural equation modeling, this study found that when satisfying employees’ autonomy, competency and the sense of belonging, there was a significant change to their participation of organizational change.
