In order to maintain the smooth flow of road traffic in mountainous areas, the highway authorities set up rock shed to solve the road traffic disruption caused by rockfall. The traditional rock shed is mainly a reinforced concrete design structure. With the continuous advancement of technology and new materials, the new steel structure rock shed method has also appeared in today''s rock shed project. This study uses the currently completed steel structure. The rock shed is a case, and the US company CSI has developed the finite element analysis software SAP2000 program with more than 40 years of history to carry out simulation analysis and discuss the impact and impact of the steel structure rock shed that can withstand the natural rockfall disaster. In this study, the linear and curved two-part structures of the actual case "Ruifeng rock shed" were set as the mode of concentrated force and distributed force, and the impact force and cumulative load capacity of the rockfall were simulated and analyzed by SAP2000 program. When the steel structure is used to design the rock shed, the concentrated structure and the distribution force of the linear structure can withstand the impact of the rockfall, and the curved structure is the cumulative distribution of the rockfall due to the relationship between the column spacing and the span Poor, so the rock shed design of steel structure is recommended to be the best choice for linear structure design.
