The purpose of this study is to find out the differences in job motivation and job satisfaction among Taichung City Police Department to take the strategy for improving. This study aims to explore the levels of job motivation and job satisfaction among directors of police station in Taichung City Police Department.To achieve the goals, the study applied questionnaire method. The study subjects were directors of police station in Taichung City Police Department since 2010. The main findings of this study are summarized as follows: First, there were significant differences existed among variables of age, seniority before being the director of police station, level, experiences of job, and work location on job motivation. Second, there were also significant differences existed among variables of gender, age, seniority before being the director of police station, level, experiences of job, and work location on job satisfaction. Third, there are high relevances between job motivation and job satisfaction. According the findings of this study, the suggestions are summarized as follows: First, encourage female police officers being the directors of police station. Second, adjust the job level of the directors of police station. Third, select candidates from young police officer. Fourth, Improve the job style.
