The Junior college libraries must understand more about the information needs and the change of search behaviors of the users of digital information. By using document analysis, the study collected data from relevant research in both domestic and overseas, designing a questionnaire of the importance and satisfaction of electronic resources with 5 dimensions and 32 indicators. By using the questionnaire survey, the study further conducted research on the nursing faculty and senior students of Hsin Sheng Junior College of Medical Care and Management. The main purposes of the study are: 1. To find out the information needs of teaching and learning for the nursing facultyand senior students. 2. To find out the current situation of using the library and electronic resources for the nursing faculty and senior students. 3. To find out the differences between the nursing faculty and senior students in understanding the importance of electronic resources and the satisfaction of using the electronic resources. The study obtained the following five conclusions and suggestions: 1. There is a huge difference in information needs between nursing faculty and senior students. The library needs to evaluate the different demands of information and then make different plans for the products of electronic resources regarding research and academic demands. 2. The satisfaction of using the library and electronic resources by the nursing faculty is lower than senior students, indicating that the library resources in current are not able to meet both the faculty and students' demands. The library needs to make a future plan for electronic resources step by step to meet the research demands of the faculty. 3. The purposes of using electronic resources by the nursing faculty are mainly focusing on teaching and academic researches, while for students who use electronic resources are mainly to prepare school works and reports. This obviously indicates that the faculty’s demands are not being well satisfied in current situation. This is the point that the library needs to improve in the future. 4. The library should regularly host events to promote the services of the library instruction of electronic resources for both the faculty and students, getting more people to know how to use the electronic collections in the correct way. 5. It is a long-term goal for the library to achieve in the future that how to carry out the library instruction of electronic resources and have it further involved in both the courses and internship educations. Suggestions were proposed with the conclusions of this study that the library should regularly host events for faculty and students to promote the library instruction of electronic resources, getting readers familiar to know how to use it. Also, by regularly conducting satisfaction surveys, the library will be able to know readers’demands in time and further adjust the procurement plan of electronic resources to meet both faculty and students’demands.
