Summary:碩士 === 明志科技大學 === 電子工程系碩士班 === 107 === Nowadays, people pay much more attentions to establish healthy physical conditions. In general, they do exercises to improve their fitness. However, there are people who cannot go to gyms to work out because of lack of time. As an alternative approach, they plan to work out at home. On the other hand, without the assistances of fitness trainers, they are bound to worry that excessive exercises may be harmful to their health. In this dissertation, a set of home fitness assistant applications has been designed and deployed. The system can provide and meet the demands or requirements of body building at home. At the present stage, the system implements dumbbells as a fitness equipment. By apply Ultra-wide band (UWB) precision rang, the system can calculate the angle of elbow-bend, and store the data, such as bend time and counts, into a Cloud database. Finally, a user can browse the data from the database via linkage applications of handheld devices. In addition, the data enable fitness trainers to analyze and evaluate as well as provide appropriate advices in order to arrange proper fitness schedules. Ultimately, this fitness management system can allow people to work out at home. In the future, the system will be enhanced various fitness contents and equipment to achieve further fitness assistances comprehensively.
